By accessing or using the Encourage service ("Service"), including our website, mobile applications, and SMS/Telegram messaging features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Encourage is an AI-powered health check-in platform that allows caregivers to set up automated wellness check-ins with their elderly relatives via SMS text messaging or Telegram. The Service may integrate with third-party health devices (such as Fitbit) to provide personalized health tips and encouragement.
By providing a phone number and enabling SMS check-ins through our Service, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Encourage related to health check-ins, wellness tips, and service notifications. Message frequency varies based on your configured check-in schedule.
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging rates will apply to any messages you send or receive. Encourage is not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.
Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Encourage. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You may also disable SMS check-ins from the caregiver dashboard.

SMS messaging is provided through Twilio. By using the SMS feature, you also agree to Twilio's Terms of Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create a caregiver account. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal authority to consent on behalf of any relative you add to the platform, or that you have obtained their explicit consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You are responsible for ensuring that any phone numbers or contact information you provide for your relatives are accurate and that you have the appropriate consent to enroll them in the Service.

The Service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI-generated wellness tips and check-in responses are for informational and encouragement purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition. In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms including Fitbit and Telegram. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of Encourage and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Encourage and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, all scheduled check-ins will be cancelled and messaging will cease.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
